Interview With Jak Swan

Team Name :- Jakswans

Stadium Name :- Jaksi

Manager :- Jak Swan

Highest Value Player In Squad :- Grafite

Highest Transfer Fee Paid :- Dudu Cearense £550k

FML Experience :- Beta GW6, Shearer

Best Moment So Far :- Hopefully securing Premiership football next season (this Gameworld)

Worst Moment So Far :- Losing Ashkan for five days, Gimenez for three days, stupid injury system :)

Aims For The Current Season :- Premiership Football for next season

Official Honours :-
Season One: SFA U21 League Winners, SFA U21 Cup Winners, SFA U19 League Winners, SFA U17 League Winners

Players To Watch Out For :- Wendell hopefully he'll go like he did in GW6 17 /18 Accel and 16 Strength, whoosh and bang :) M'Villa and Tetteh both 16 look good so far.

Any Tips For Other FML Managers :- Patience, never kid yourself that you only need one more player thereby talking yourself into bidding silly in wage auctions.

Thanks for taking your time to answer my questions & good luck next season

Youth Team All Trophys

So the Jakswans take all the S.F.A. youth trophy's in this 1st season. well done Jak ,Having clinched the u21 League & Cup Double, They added the Under 19 & u17 Leagues to that now bulging trophy cabinet.

But with only a small number of sides competing this season :-

Under 21 League - 7

Under 21 Cup - 8

Under 19 League - 5

Under 17 League - 4

we are looking for more S.F.A. managers to enter these comps ready for season 2.

those of you with sides already speak / send a message to Jak for you to be added next season.

Those of you wishing to start a youth side pop into the S.F.A. chat for advise on how to do so.

Where You Will End Up

Hi SFA Members,
We're well into the first season now and hope you're enjoying your time in FM Live. Just a little update to outline what will happen next season.
The SFA has 80 members so we'll have two tiers, i.e. One Premiership League and several Championships. The top 5 from each Qual league will get in the Premier League whilst other members will get randomly allocated to three Championship leagues with relegation / promotion at the end of season 2.
UFFA (a bit like UEFA) is the main ruling body of all FA's and their comps carry a lot of reputation. They run Gold / Silver comps and a Cup Winners Cup as well as the Gameworld Cup and Gameworld Youth Cup.
I'm one of the mods in the Gameworld and main brief is to run the SFA. You will have no doubt noticed the money you receive from the FA and I'm very keen to promote a helpful environment. As one user put it 'why would you help me?' The better the standard of club in the FA the higher the reputation of the FA, the higher this is, the money we get. Plus everyone wants to enjoy right?
If you ever need any help either Nick or myself will be happy to help!

S.F.A. Under 21 League & Cup Double

Jakswans do the S.F.A. Under 21 league & cup double. Having clinched the league title with games to spare, The welsh side knew a win in the S.F.A. Under 21 Cup Final against Edo steiner's SuperBoys Team & the dream double was theirs. But in a close game it was the better finishing of the Jakswans forward line that won the tie & more importantly their 2nd Official Youth trophy of the evening.

Interview With Michel

Team Name :- Real Beziers

Stadium Name :- Stade de la Méditerranée

Manager :- Michel Valero

Highest Value Player In Squad :- Gerard Piqué 450k

Highest Transfer Fee Paid :- Edixon Perea 350k

FML Experience :- games world shearer

Best Moment So Far : - 2 moments, first the victory in S.F.A. Cup FINAL at the ultimate second, and twice a victory 4-0 in the second set of a cup match, after loosing at home the first leg 0-3 !!!
Thanks Michel For sparing you time for this interview

S.F.A. Cup Decided

In an even game between Michel Valero's Real Beziers & Rick Galbraith's Worst Spam United, A goal in injury time settled this Cup Final. Colombian Edixon Perea scoring the only goal of the match after the United goalkeepers save went straight to him for an easy goal.It settled what was a tense affair with both sides tactics nullifying the others tactics.

Interview With Ben

Team Name :- Bene's Geordie Horses

Stadium Name :- St. Horses Stadium

Manager :- Ben Purvis

Highest Value Player In Squad :- Thomas Ujfalusi 550k

Highest Transfer Fee Paid :- Thiago Neves 315K

FML Experience :- Game World Shearer

Best Moment So Far :- It has to be winning the S.F.A. Non Premiership Cup,But also finding my perfect tactics has been great.I am glad i have managed to turn round a team who could not win for love nor money & which i know feel is hard to break down

Worst Moment So Far :- The insane prices people are asking for players,I am trying to sign a decent striker but currently finding it impossible.

Aims For The Current Season :- I aim to get myself up the league ,I feel a little disappointed with my performances in that & hope to win my remaining matches in the coming days.I am also looking forward to next season.

Official Honours :- S.F.A. Non Premiership Cup

Players To Watch Out For :- My left hand side has been particularly strong Sylvain Armand & Radek Sirl have been bargains & in Thiago Neves I have an awesome player for the future.

Any Tips For Other FML Managers :- I always start with a strong defence, As i feel most people want the SUPERSTAR striker 1st.Ive Always gone with being hard to beat & progress from there. & always be on the lookout for that bargain signing that will take your side to the next level.

Thanks Ben for volunteering to this little interview & good luck for the future

S.F.A. Non Premiership Cup Concluded

So the 1st ever senior S.F.A. Federation trophy has been won by 22 year old Ben Purvis.
Ben's side Bene's Geordie Horses took the trophy after a 2-1 agg score in the 2 legged final.
Despite losing the 1st leg 1-0 at home, He knew he has it all to do in the 2nd leg away to Dan Hodson's Tonbridge Terrors.

A 13th minute goal by Taylor Twellman put the tie back in the balance, & in a game Tonbridge dominated it looked more likely that they would come out on top & maybe would of but for the inability of there forwards shooting. It was finally decided in the 90th minute when a breakaway by Bene's Geordie Horses resulted in a penalty after Rafinha had pulled back Taylor Twellman, & up stepped the American striker to place the ball to the left of the goalkeeper who had gone the right way but still got no where near the ball.

So it was success in his 1st season for Ben & a touch of bad luck for Dan.

Thanks to all those that took part & better luck next season

The Chat In S.F.A

Hi all

After reading the post(Game Is Dying) by nick about the chat he had in the S.F.A chatroom , i cant believe people are thinking that already, i think that is just crazy as we have just started the game and there is a long way to go in it yet, i wonder why i was not involved in that chat (maybe at work).
But here is my main Concern -- the lack of chat in the S.F.A room, i cant figure it out really as i was in a few betas and the F A s i was in there were always buzzing with jokes, banter, carry on!!
There is none at all in the S.F.A room at the mo, not sure if people cant be bothered or just don't know how to type!!! There are the odd few that says a few words then disappear somewhere(maybe the moon)
If any 1 from the S.F.A is reading this please remember that the chatroom is free to use anytime!! it costs nothing to type in it... a joke will do or even a hello

thanks for taking time to read this little rant of mine

gardiner

p.s i no its xmas time but if you have any spare cash please forward to myself or nick as we are trying to get a brass band to perform on xmas eve in the chatroom

Qualifier 4 Week 2

Again in Qual 4 we see a battle for top spot between Stewart Malcolm's Unathletic Madrid & Dan Hodson's Tonbridge Terrors but i doubt this will be a 2 horse race as Andy Elvis's Wrexham Tigers side are sat 4 points behind the leaders with 4 games more to play.the battle for the remaining places for the premiership is really hot as any team from 15th to 4th could find themselves in these spots come next Sunday.Bottom spot is currently shared between Shadbar United & United Armenia with only goal dif separating them.

Qualifier 3 Week 2

In Qual 3 there's a 2 way battle for top spot between Pina Nelas & Real Beziers but if Germano Pina's side take advantage of their 3 games in hand then they should clinch the title & premiership football next season. Mid table seems fairly settled with 27 points separating 7th & 18th,Newcastle FC with a record of no wins,2 draws & 8 defeats currently prop up the table. But with plenty of games still to go where they will finish is anybodies business.

Qualifier 2 Week 2

Onto Qual 2 where we again see a side clear at the top of the table John Gardiner's outstanding Macduff FC Are 6 points clear with 3 games in hand on the next 3 sides& currently look odds on favourites for top spot.Line United,Inter Retirement,IFA FC,In your honor & Jakswans make up the chasing pack & with only the top 5 guaranteed Premiership football at the end of the season1 side will surely be disappointed come the end of there league campaign. Fc Glover are currently on course for the wooden spoon unless Kenny Glover's side can find some form & start to climb up the league

Qualifier 1 Week 2

So we are at the end of week 2 in the S.F.A. Quals, in Qual 1Chris Davies F.C. Balmoral are currently top by a 5 point margin & its up to the chasing pack of Aidies Almighty,FC Champmanio & Atletico Sheppey to try to stop his march to the title.with positions 6 to 13 spread by a whole 5 points i can see plenty of teams changing league positions over this final week of the season.AFC Bucky Co bring up the rear with 3 points from the 7 league games ,but with plenty of time to ensure they don't finish up with the wooden spoon.

A,I,. Games Maybe A Way Forward

Hello everybody, Something happened to me that i would like to share with you all, and hopefully we can come to a better arrangement. I'm talking about the AI games. I was told i had a cup game that was given AI rights for today, this was fine because i usually come here around 7.30/8pm. However today i got here just after 8pm. I was looking forward to playing my cup game because the league has gone for me now, too many draws! However when i got here i discovered my opponent had played the game without me. I don't blame him, we are all new here and there will be issues that maybe we can change for the better. We have all paid our money to play against each other, and i realise from time to time AI games will go ahead, However what i am requesting here is that would it not be a good idea to email each other if we have these types of games to try and work out a time which is suitable for both teams? This is the social league after all. The chat rooms are a great place to sort out these fixtures too, and i think we would all benefit from visiting these more to get to know each other, and get great tips from the experts of the beta games. By the way the AI game i missed today, my team drew 3v3 after being 3v1 down and having a player sent off, sounded like a great game, just wish i was there to get all the stress that this game brings!!!

Mad Season Approaches

So the end of season 1 wage auctions aresoon to be upon us.Its quite apt really for them too fall at Christmas, because this week will feel like you've been Christmas shopping on the 24th of December 20x.
Have you done all your preparation work- Locked the seniors you want to keep next season scouted out potential replacements for your squad Protected your much vaunted youth prodigy from the snarling pack (remember players under 19 can be contract locked for free).
You prepared to say your good bye's to the players that have done you proud in this inaugural season But a word to the wise this type of wage auction has a different set of rules to the free agent ones.As the DAILY WAGE you bid is the amount you pay if successful
Are you prepared to pay over the odds for a turkey or bid smart & buy yourself a Christmas gift fml style

Qualifier 4 week 1

The SFAQ4 is quite open although Wrexham Tigers have emerged as front runners having got 37 points from their opening 20 games. Royal Benfleet and Sporting Arsenal are in hot pursuit. The player to watch here is without doubt West Wylam's Guilherme , 22 games 22 goals in all competitions so far this term.

Qualifier 3 week 1

The SFAQ3 so far has been the story of two teams Pina Nelas and Muppet United . Teams should mindful of Panathinaikos RepdieN 's, Martin Petrov who's been in stunning form with a 7.53 Av Rating.

Qualifier 2 week 1

In the SFAQ2 it's Macduff FC form that has been nothing short of sensational, the Aberdeen outfit have 40 points from 19, there is no doubt that the young Sergio Asenjo is playing a major part in the teams success. The Jakswans remain unbeaten and Hurtlocker FC have a similar record from their 8 games.

Qualifier 1 Week 1

In the SFAQ1 it's F.C. Balmoral who've emerged as the front runners for Premiership football, they've already played 23 games and have only lost 3. It's expected that if you double your games played with points that Premiership football should be in the bag and their well on course with 48 points. In the few games that have been played their likely to be chased by AB 97 who've 14 points from 7 games.

Hi & Welcome

Hi everyone

After a chat in the S.F.A. chat room in game world shearer a few of us have decided its time to let the whole world know what where up to & who we are.
If anyone from the S.F.A. federation would like to add posts to this blog please contact either my self (Nick Megarity) or Andrew Hill, As this is for our little community within the gameworld

We will begin with how the qualifiers are going & build on from there ,
